Bought from the Natmus Museum in Auburn Indiana. The car was tore down and rebuilt. I talked to Jack Ingram once who said was sold to DR or dentist then donated to museum. He said it was a re-bodied Monte Carlo or Nova. It would be very difficult to authenticate this i say up front. I have found no numbers on the car.
The frame is banjo Mathews 105". The engine is built from GM Performance block with a stroke to 358. Forged crank, rods, aluminum pistons. Trick Flow 18° aluminum heads, Jessel rockers, Jessel timing belt. Dry sump, 12.5:1 compression. Piston squirters. Mighty Demon 750. Aluminum radiator/oil cooler combo. Chevy performance intake. Valve covers were made so the tops would come off not to make a mess when lashing valves. Accumulator for cold starts.
The car was dynoed at Willy's making 517hp (Chassis dyno) limiting the rpm to 6500. Estimating 650 at crank.
Jerico transmission from Gene Felton. Gene told me with the wider frame rails would have been a Winston cup chassis. Frankland quick change rear end with 19-22 gears which I think makes it 3:96.
Fire suppression system engine/cockpit. Solid state turn signal, brake and flasher set up (rear lights only). Removable GPS speedometer.
I have done 3 track events as a novice. I have way too many hobbies and I am getting spread too thin to give this the attention it deserves.
If the car sells, I will have extra unused tires, some mounted. I also have Nascar body templates.
