For Sale: Professionally built and maintained K24 powered Civic race/track car. *CAR IS NOT STREET REGISTERED OR STREET LEGAL* Car was built to all NASA road racing standards by Ben DeAngeli (if you know Hondas, you know who Ben is), but was only ever used in Instructor/HPDE events by myself - a driver with 25 years of track experience. Never wrecked, bumped, or nudged - the car is as close to perfect condition as a track car can be. Approx 2200 lbs and 265 wheel horse power makes this thing a great giant-slayer of a track toy. While currently not H1 legal, sale will include all engine parts necessary to convert it back to full Honda Challenge H1 specs.
Chassis: Chassis was shipped up to the Northeast from Texas in 2016 and has NO RUST at all. Car was fitted with a custom cage and painted later that year. As I said, that car has never been hit. *caveat* The doors for this car were taken from my older Civic race car that did have some car to car contact due to the fact that they were lighter than the stock doors that came with this car (power windows, etc). The old doors were cleaned up and repainted, but some tiny ripples can be seen. I should be able to get the original doors for the buyer if you want them.
Engine: When I first got this K24A2 it actually set the record for the highest output recorded from a stock K24 on Innovative Motorworks Tuning's dyno, at 255hp and 190ft/lbs. With cams and some other work it made 265hp and 185lb/ft the last time it was tuned. Note that the picture of the dyno readout above shows 270hp, but that was using a throttle bottle that positioned the TPS too close to the radiator and kept fouling it out, so we adjusted. Full details: Headgames refreshed K24 head, RBC ported intake, Ktuned cast 70mm TB, OEM RDX Injectors, Brian Crower 3 Cam, Supertech Valve Springs, Action 10lb Flywheel, Koyo RSX modified radiator. Run on Rotella T6 5W 40.
Transmission: NSN4 transmission, stock 4.7 final drive, upgraded Mfactory 4th and 5th gears to prevent gear stripping, Mfactory Clutch LSD (1.5 way, 66% lockup), Ktuned Billet Race Spec shifter, Action 6puck clutch. Run on Torco RTF.
Brakes: Fastbrakes STL Big Brake Kit with Wilwood FNSLR calipers, two piece 11.6 x 1.1" rotors, Raybestos ST-45 pads (with a spare set), Motul mf600 fluid.
Suspension: Custom valved Koni race yellows, Eibach racing springs 800/600 (1000lb springs will come with spares), stock front sway bar, ASR adjustable rear sway 32mm x .188" wall, King Pin Spherical bushings.
Aero: PCI Aluminum 59" rear race wing - adjustable (I recommend you flatten it if you are towing with an open trailer). custom built Alumalite front splitter with built in NACA ducts and both front and side support rods.
Intake/Exhaust: 3.5" headlight intake, Rcrew racing header, custom 3" exhaust with muffler (can be used at Lime Rock).
Other: Karcepts 36mm hubs, Raxles Race axles with swapped inner joints (sale includes spares for each side worth over $800 each). UltraChiller race suit cooler installed with dashboard switch. Garmin Catalyst mounted on top of dashboard, also with dashboard switch. Spa Extreme Fire Supression system with 4 nozzles, dashboard pull, and heat activated bulb, Kirkey full halo racing seat, OMP detachable steering wheel. ProDrive Lexan rear glass and side windows, VIS Racing Carbon Fiber hood.
Wheels/Tires: 2 sets of Front wheels: Advanti Racing Storm S1 15x9 4x100 35mm offset. 2 sets of Rear wheels: Enkei PF01 15x8 4x100 35mm offset. One set of brand new Toyo RRs in 245/40 front and 225/45 rear (set to be mounted this week), and one set of Hoosier R7s in 245/40 front and 205/45 rear that are two years old.
Car was serviced this week replacing the alternator and re-aligning, along with mounting up a "new" set of used konis.
The car will be at NJMP with NASA NE on 5/17, 5/18, and if it isn't sold by then.... 6/2 and can be tested by serious buyers.
Lap times: 2:09 at Watkins Glen (on blown shocks), 1:13 NJMP Lightening, 1:30 NJMP Thunderbolt, 1:01 Lime Rock. All of those times could probably be improved by at least a second if the Konis were replaced with Penskes.

Please so silly lowball offers. This car was professionally built and maintained by one the best Honda mechanics on the east coast, and has NEVER been hit. It's a perfect Civic chassis with an abnormally powerful K24.
